Search Requirement: Senior HR&A Manager

Status: Replacement Position
Reporting to: Directly to GM, Philippines and Indirectly to HR Head, Global

Job purpose:

The Human Resources Manager holds the primary responsibility of managing the HR function to support the company’s business in the Philippines. The Human Resources Manager will formulate policies, programs and direct HR activities (relating to staffing, training & development, employees relations, performance management, rewards, etc.) that fully comply with local labor laws to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the local management team to plan & meet business unit objectives.
• Lead & develop HR staff to provide effective HR services (like HR admin – policy, payroll, staffing, Training & Development, employees relations & engagement, performance management, Compensation & Benefits, succession planning, etc.); plan & implement HR programs & activities to support business needs.
• Act as primary contact to relevant government agencies, meet relevant government requirements & inform higher management of new developments that will affect business operations.
• Meet or exceed yearly HR objectives within budget that are aligned to support business objectives.
• Comply or meet all legal requirements (e.g. Manpower Act, mandatory contributions, Social Accountability, etc.) & government reporting regulations affecting the HR function accurately & timely.
• Implement HR programs/activities effectively: meet staffing requirements timely; achieve agreed targets relating to staff development, staff engagement, workplace safety & health, etc.
• Attain/exceed implementation targets timely & within budget for assigned projects.
• Oversees office administration such as but not limited to management of office supplies, housekeeping, and messenger activities.
• Oversees the central procurement and purchases of administrative supplies, materials, equipment, and services.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of HR managerial experience as an HR generalist.
• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management / Psychology / Labour Laws or equivalent.
• Professional certification in related HR skills is a plus.
